About Me
I have more than 25 years of experience providing psychotherapy and counselling to individuals, families and groups. I am highly skilled in a variety of evidence based therapeutic approaches; yet no matter the approach, I will be working with you to collaboratively explore your struggles while helping you to understand and strengthen your relationship with yourself and others. I fundamentally believe that each person is their own specialist and that the therapeutic process is meant to help you be reflective and improve your thoughts, behaviours and emotional responses so that you may achieve your goals.

I have extensive experience in both community mental health agencies and hospitals. In these settings I have continued to develop my knowledge and skills in Cognitive Behavioural therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Mindfulness.

I have a specialty focus working with young adults (16 - 24 years) and adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions and changes, relationship issues, chronic pain and illness.

I am a Registered Social Worker. I am a member in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers, as well as the Ontario Association of Social Workers.
